Anita Caruso

Anita is an experienced property lawyer who advises developers, lessors and lessees, owners and operators across a broad range of property matters. She is valued by clients for her thorough yet pragmatic approach, her understanding of client businesses and industries and her dedication to achieving the client’s commercial goals.

Anita has particular expertise in:

• Property acquisitions and disposals
• Residential and commercial property development
• Retail and commercial leasing
• Community housing, retirement villages and residential parks
• Property related enforcement and insolvency

Anita advises the private sector, not for profit organisations and government in relation to the delivery of property projects across a diverse range of industries, including housing, education, agribusiness, defence and health.

She also has broad experience assisting clients to navigate the Personal Property Securities Act including drafting terms, attending to registrations and considering and advising on priorities and other PPSA issues.

Anita is a member of the Property Council of Australia and has been appointed Chair of the Council’s South Australian Residential Committee.
